Art Society Opens Gallery Downtown
FOR THE RECORD (November 25, 1996): Corrections: Auditions for Spokane Civic Theatre’s production of Romeo and Juliet will be held today and Tuesday on the main stage at 1020 N. Howard. An IN-Life story Sunday gave the wrong location. The same story incorrectly reported how people should prepare for the audition. Prospective actors should learn a monologue of about 25 lines from a Shakespeare play other than Romeo and Juliet.
The Art Society of Eastern Washington just opened a gallery, Art Echoes Gallery, in the Sherwood Mall downtown.
The gallery, a cooperative business managed by art society members, will enable local artists to show and sell their work. A variety of mediums will be represented, including paintings, sculptures, pottery, jewelry and more.
Art Echoes will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
