Cbs Fills Wednesday-Night Slots

Washington Post

CBS has announced the premiere dates for its last two 1996-97 entries, both of which will appear Wednesday nights.

“EZ Streets,” a drama about “two fiercely independent loners (Ken Olin and Jason Gedrick) living on opposites sides of the law, who are drawn together in that grey underworld that is neither good nor evil, will get a two-hour preview on Sunday, Oct. 27, and debut on Oct. 30 in its regular 10 p.m. Wednesday time slot.

“Public Morals,” Steve Bochco’s naughty NYPD vice squad sitcom, which has been cleaned up since CBS executives (and advertisers) got a look at the pilot, premieres at 9:30 that same Wednesday night.
