Missing 4-Year-Old Found Alive, Unhurt

A 4-year-old girl from Northern Ireland missing overnight was found alive and apparently unhurt Monday, 15 to 20 miles from the tourist hotel where she had been staying with her family.

The girl, who vanished Sunday evening from a second-floor walkway of a Quality Inn near the Orlando-area theme parks, was spotted Monday afternoon at a convenience store by a woman who called police.

“It’s obvious that she was abducted … and dropped off,” said Cmdr. Steve Jones of the Orange County sheriff’s department.
