Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: I mixed up a whole box of pancake mix and cooked pancakes for my six grandchildren. I set them on a cookie sheet and put them in the freezer. I stored them in a bread bag and closed it with a twist tie or stored them in a bread bag with wax paper between each one.

It’s wonderful for breakfasts on school days. Just put them in the microwave for 30 seconds to a minute. - Irene Anderson, Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.

Your yummy hint is a stress buster on busy mornings. However, freezer-safe bags are a better bet since plastic bread bags aren’t meant to protect food in the freezer. - Heloise xxxx
