Nic Forum To Explain ‘Cyberschool’ Project
The Western Governors University - a “cyberschool” that would make use of computers and television to reach students - will be the focus of a Monday videoconference.
The public is invited to attend from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the North Idaho College telecommunications classroom on the second floor of the NIC library.
The Western Governors University is an effort of 13 states aimed at providing more access to college courses via telecommunications. Some offerings will be available next year.
The conference will provide an update on the project and how it’s expected to operate in Idaho. , DataTimes
