The council will hear an appeal from the Carousel Lane Neighborhood Association to deny plans for a 48-unit apartment complex on the Sunset Hill.
Spokane County Commissioners
Tuesday, 5 p.m. weekly meeting.

Commissioners will hear comments about a proposed ordinance for “inherently dangerous” animals. The regulations would mandate special care, housing and permits for large cats, wolves, poisonous snakes and some other exotic animals kept as pets.
Growth Management Act public hearings

Thursday, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Airway Heights Community Center, 13120 W. 13th.
Spokane County officials will explain and take comments about proposed boundaries to designate where urban growth may occur. The meetings are an opportunity for residents to say where they think the lines should be drawn. Similar meetings are scheduled for Mead and Ferris high schools the following week.

The committee will discuss guidelines for drawing neighborhood boundaries.
