Economist To Lecture On Resources
Ray Rasker, a resource economist working for the Wilderness Society in Bozeman, Mont., will deliver a lecture Oct. 29 at North Idaho College called “The Way Forward: Resources, Jobs and Reality in the Columbia River Basin.”
Rasker is associated with Montana State University and lectures extensively. He will discuss the relationship between managing natural resources and the long-term economic health of communities in the Inland Northwest.
The lecture is sponsored by the Idaho Conservation League and the Kootenai Environmental Alliance, and will be from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Kootenai Room of the Student Union Building.
