At a glance: Wednesday night’s confrontation of West Divison heavyweights was fairly up-tempo and crisp until Chiefs pulled away in the third period. The final 5 minutes got a little ugly. The highlight (or lowlight to some) came earlier, however, after the second period when Kelowna tough guy Scott Parker was hit with a game misconduct for challenging the Chiefs bench. The balance of power could shift Spokane’s way in tonight’s rematch if rugged Jay Bertsch plays. Bertsch was listed as possible.
