Dear Heloise: Here’s an inexpensive way to make your own photo album for wallet-sized pictures: Purchase sports-card pages. Each sheet has nine pockets, usually top-loads and holds 18 pictures back-to-back. They fit into any standard three-ring binder and are readily available in small or large quantities from many sources (department and discount stores, greeting-card shops, office-supply and drug stores, sports-card shops, flea markets, etc.).

There is no need to trim pictures, as they slide easily into the pockets and additional pages can be added as needed.

We have an album of wallet-sized photos with pictures of our two sons from birth through their school years, as well as those of their teacher, mom and other family and friends. Now, we have included photos of our grandchildren. - Alvin Goodman, Harrisburg, Pa.
