Curtis Enis, RB, Penn St.: Rushed for 241 yards on 27 carries, scoring three touchdowns last week against USC.
Danny Wuerrfel, QB, Florida: Threw for 224 yards on 15-of-28 passing and one TD.

The Air Force offense rolled up 498 rushing yards in a rout of San Jose State, led by Andre Johnson’s 138.

Nebraska linebacker Terrell Farley was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving Friday morning and coach Tom Osborne said the indefinite suspension he handed out could last the entire season.
Magic Benton, Miami, scored two spectacular touchdowns, one on a 67-yard punt return and another on a 73-yard reception, to lead the Hurricanes past Memphis 30-7. Benton finished with nine catches for 147 yards.
Cory Wedel tied a school record with six field goals as Wyoming came back to beat Idaho 40-38.
Chris Hixson completed 16 of 23 passes for 223 yards to set a Rhode Island record with a 70-percent completion percentage to lead the Rams to a 49-3 victory over American International.
Freshman Sedrick Irvin scored four touchdowns as a stand-in for last year’s top rusher, Marc Renaud, who was lost to academic ineligibility as Michigan State won its opener 52-14 over Purdue.
Ty King, replacing Deland McCullough, the Mid-American Conference’s career rushing leader, ran for 205 yards and four touchdowns as Miami, Ohio, routed Kent 64-6.
Moses Moreno threw an 80-yard pass to Jeremy Calhoun on Colorado State’s first play from scrimmage and Calvin Branch ran 70 yards for a touchdown on the second as the Rams beat Tennessee-Chattanooga 61-19. CSU rushed for 464 yards on 37 carries.
Clemson, blanked by Syracuse 41-0 in last year’s Gator Bowl, now has been outscored 86-0 in its last two games and has been held scoreless in consecutive games for the first time in 60 years.
Tony Rogers of Texas Tech was only 1 for 5 in field-goal attempts with three misses and one block.
