Gerald Leroy and Anita Abbott, Davenport, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at Davenport’s Zion Lutheran Church from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Hosting the event will be their children and spouses: Linda Armdruster, New Castle, Wash.; and Jerry Abbott, Kirkland, Wash.

The Abbots were married Aug. 28, 1946, in Thompson Falls, Mont. They have four grandchildren.
