Mr. And Mrs. Samis Spokane

Clinton Dean and Phyllis (Proffer) Samis, Spokane, will celebrate a joint 50th wedding anniversary with Clinton’s sister and her husband, Howard and Bonnie (Samis) McNeilly.

The two couples will be feted at a family picnic at Manito Park, from noon to 3 p.m., Sept. 8.

Hosts for the event will be the Samis children and spouses: Norma Samis, Seattle; Bette Munroe, Valleyford; and Jim and Joyce Samis, Greenacres.

The couple were married Sept. 7, 1946, in Opportunity. They have six grandchildren.
