James Lee and Margie May Sowers, Spirit Lake, Idaho, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at the Spirit Lake Baptist Church.

Hosting the event were their family and friends.

The couple were married Aug. 19, 1946, in Spokane.
