Boot Your Pc And Create Works For Ewu’s Computer Art Show
Eastern Washington University’s Gallery of Art is staging its 10th annual National Computer Art Invitational, the longest-running computer art exhibition in the U.S.
There’s still time to enter this year’s juried show. Deadline is Nov. 1. The exhibition is open to all media created and/or generated by computers.
Each artist can submit a maximum of 10 slides.
Send a self-addressed-stamped envelope, slides and the $20 fee to: Friends of the Gallery, Gallery of Art MS-102, Eastern Washington University, 526 5th., Cheney, WA 99004-2431.
Maiden exhibition
The Spokane District Chapter of the Colored Pencil Society of America is showing its first exhibition at Spokane Art Supply, 1303 N. Monroe. The show runs through Oct. 2.
Auditions
The Lewiston Civic Theatre will conduct auditions for “Annie,” at 1 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28 and 29.
Those trying for the parts of Annie or the orphans will audition at 1 p.m.; dancers at 3 p.m., and all other roles at 4 p.m.
Auditioners must prepare a song from the show.

The Eastern Washington University Girls Chorus is auditioning girls ages 9 to 15. The group, directed by Lynn Brinckmeyer, director of EWU’s music education, performs several times a season.

The Corbin Art Center is seeking Northwest toy artists to participate in the school’s 21st annual Juried Fine Arts and Crafts Christmas Sale, Dec. 7 and 8.

Fugue, the University of Idaho’s literary magazine, is reviewing submissions for its winter 1996 issue. Authors of poems, fiction, essays, creative non-fiction and critical works on contemporary writing are invited to submit their work.
The magazine pays for contributions.
