Four Arrested In Drug Raid

Spokane police raided a downtown hotel room suspected of doubling as a drug den Tuesday night.

Arrested at the Red Lion City Center were Rodney Eugene Cormier, 24; Autumn L. Turner, 18; Nichole R. Decking, 18; and a 16-year-old girl, said police spokesman Dick Cottam.

A small child with them was turned over to state Child Protective Services, Cottam said.

Police said hotel records showed the room received several hundred phone calls since the group checked in on Sunday.

Hotel employees said the room drew an average of five visitors per hour.

Officers found a purse on a bed containing two plastic bags filled with cocaine, several hundred dollars in cash and two pagers, Cottam said.

The three adults and the girl were arrested on suspicion of cocaine trafficking and possession.
