Local Students Make Gonzaga Dean’s List
Gonzaga University recently released the names of students who earned a place on the Dean’s List by maintaining at least a 3.5 grade-point average for the fall semester.

Robert Schilling and Steven Johnson, both Central Valley High School and Spokane Community College graduates, have been promoted to the rank of sergeant in the Washington State Patrol.
Both were reassigned to the Olympic Peninsula - Schilling to supervise a Port Angeles detachment, and Johnson to supervise a Poulsbo detachment.
Two Inland Northwest Air Force airmen received the Good Conduct Medal. The medal is awarded to those who depict and demonstrate exemplary conduct, bearing and behavior while serving in the military services.
Senior Airman Monica Lugo, a 1993 graduate of Omak (Wash.) High School, is stationed in Biloxi, Miss. She is the daughter of Tom Gallager of Omak, and Gail Anderson of Spokane.
Senior Airman Gregory Taylor, son of William and Evelyn Taylor, both of Spokane, is stationed in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. He is a 1993 graduate of Shadle Park High School.
