Vandals Add Idaho State To 1997 Football Schedule

The University of Idaho has added Idaho State to next season’s football schedule, giving the Vandals 11 games.

The Vandals will play the Bengals at Pocatello on Sept. 13. A game scheduled with New Mexico State has been moved to Nov. 15.

Canyon to open on back nine

Indian Canyon Golf Course will open its back nine holes Saturday morning, according to head professional Gary Lindeblad.

Lindeblad said the city-owned course will stay open Sunday and then close for another day or two so crews still cleaning up debris from last winter’s ice storm can relocate their heavy equipment.

Lindeblad added that it could be another 10 days to two weeks before the front nine can be opened. , DataTimes
