A weekend retreat for young adults who have lived in a single-parent home through divorce, separation or death will be Friday through next Sunday, April 13, at Liberty Lake.

The retreat is sponsored by the Young Adult Beginning Experience of Spokane to give young people 18 and older a chance to interact with others in similar situations.

The organization is a division of Beginning Experience, a program established in 1973 by the Roman Catholic Church.

The retreat, open to all denominations, will be at a church camp on Liberty Lake. Cost is $80. For registration information, call 466-2494.

Decker will share a variety of healing methods she has learned from her work abroad. Topics will include aboriginal principles of healing and being in harmony with nature, how to improve and enhance your personal energy levels, when and how herbs can be effective, and speaking with healing animals.
