Cbs Pulls Plug On ‘Ez Streets’

CBS has pulled the final episode of “EZ Streets” from Wednesday’s lineup, replacing it with a “Walker, Texas Ranger” episode.

“EZ Streets” a complex, dark crime drama that was a favorite of Entertainment President Leslie Moonves, a few critics and virtually nobody else - was first yanked from the CBS schedule in early November after only two outings and low ratings, despite heavy promotion on such network hits as “60 Minutes” and “Touched by an Angel.”

A network spokesman said it is unlikely that the seventh and final episode will surface.
