Explosions Will Be Demolition Training

Visitors to the Nez Perce National Forest this weekend near Grangeville, Idaho, may hear some explosions in the vicinity of Cove Road or McComas Meadows.

Don’t be alarmed. It’s just the Idaho Army National Guard conducting demolition training.

The Guard will be training either at the rock pit off Cove Road No. 1103B1 or at the Rock Creek rock pit near McComas Meadows on Saturday.

The Guard plans to put up roadblocks.
