River Park Square Ruling Appealed
Parties opposed to the city of Spokane’s involvement in downtown’s River Park Square development have appealed a Superior Court judge’s April 11 ruling against them.
Judge Kathleen O’Connor decided the city acted appropriately in supporting the proposed $100 million development project, ruling against the lawsuit filed by attorney Steve Eugster.
Spokane residents Richard Adams, John Talbott and Margaret Leonard are among the plaintiffs.
River Park Square’s developer and the city filed a motion Thursday asking the state Supreme Court to hear the case in an accelerated review, bypassing the Court of Appeals.
Eugster did not object to the motion. , DataTimes
