Homers Spell Doom For Cards

Chris Gillette shaved North Idaho College with a solo home run Saturday.

Gillette’s blast provided the difference as College of Southern Idaho edged the visiting Cardinals 5-4 in a Region 18 baseball game at Twin Falls.

All of CSI’s runs came off homers. Dion Washington’s two-run shot in the fourth off starter and loser Sean Boesch was the lone non-solo homer.

NIC’s Joel Gorham homered twice.
