North Idaho Christian School Principal Larry Kay pushes volunteerism as much as President Clinton does.

That’s why Kay’s 140 students and many of their parents will hit the streets in Kootenai County Thursday to collect food for the poor.

Kay said his volunteers will collect non-perishable food at homes in Hayden, Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls and Rathdrum from 9 a.m. to noon.
