Beavis And Butt-Head Being Retired By Mtv
“Beavis and Butt-head” will soon have their last laugh - heh, heh, heh - ending four years of first-run weekly episodes on MTV.
MTV and program creator Mike Judge have agreed to call it quits for the tales of two channel-surfing, wisecracking teens. The first of 15 final episodes began airing last week, with the last scheduled to air Oct. 10.
But never fear. Losers like Beavis and Butt-head never really go anywhere. Their adventures will continue in reruns indefinitely, according to MTV.
In addition, the boys may resurface in specials or a sequel to “Beavis and Butt-head Do America,” the blockbuster feature film released last December.
Judge may also create an entirely new program for MTV.
