Latasha Byears had a season-high 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds Sunday night as Sacramento beat the New York Liberty 76-69, the Monarchs’ third straight victory after a nine-game losing streak.

Bridgette Gordon had 19 points and Ruthie Bolton-Holifield 15 for the Monarchs, who put together their first three-game winning streak.
