By now you should know that Christian Slater, the 27-year-old movie star, has been charged for assaulting a man at a Los Angeles party. With his teeth, no less.

Television reports out of L.A. have provided some additional dirt.

Seems Slater (“Broken Arrow,” “Interview With the Vampire”) was stoned on a combination of cocaine, heroin and alcohol. Both KCAL-TV and E! Television say that his blood-alcohol was over .24 - which is a bit higher than California’s legal level of .08.

At the party, Slater got into an argument with his girlfriend, Michelle Jonas, and allegedly punched her. When a friend of Jonas’, Jacques Petersen stepped in, Slater bit him.

Slater was arrested later and then released on $50,000 bond.

During a taping for the game show “Pictionary,” Erik Estrada celebrated a win by throwing up his arms. Unfortunately, host Bill Maher was leaning in at that very moment. Maher had to continue only after putting an ice pack on his face. The segment won’t air.

Of course, she already knew what the problem was

Things are really getting serious between Princess Diana and current squeeze Dodi Fayed. The former wife of Britain’s Prince Charles took her millionaire boyfriend to consult psychic Rita Rogers. According to the London Sun, Di and Dodi traveled by a helicopter owned by Harrods, the department store owned by Fayed’s father.

If only the Brit-royals had such presence

A photographer attempting to extort money from the artist formerly known as Prince is out of luck. The photog apparently has photos of the singer/songwriter and his wife, Mayte, making love on a Hawaiian beach. Instead of paying, ex-Prince is, says a spokesman, “going to ignore it.”

Are we sure that Moore isn’t really a Brit-royal?

Dudley Moore, who last month reconciled with wife No. 2 Nicole Rothschild, has filed for divorce. He requested a restraining order against Rothschild and will wage a paternity suit to determine whether he is the father of Rothschild’s 2-year-old son. Rothschild previously had charged Moore with abusing her both physically and verbally.

Example No. 1: How a spokesperson starts a rumor Recovering from her breakup with Brad Pitt, actress Gwyneth Paltrow is spending time with Winona Ryder. The couple were hand-in-hand at the New York premiere of “Cop Land.” Asked about their relationship, Paltrow’s spokesman said, “It’s really none of your business.”
