Nearly two dozen men’s modified pitch softball teams will be at Franklin Park this weekend for Class B and 40-and-over national invitational tournaments.

Games run from 2:30-6:30 p.m. today, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and resume at 9 a.m. Sunday with the championship games in both divisions in early afternoon.

Most of the teams are from Spokane, but the event also has drawn entries from Portland, Seattle and the Tri-Cities. , DataTimes
