Stella (Trezona) Hulsizer Robar is 100 years old today.

She was born Aug. 29, 1897, in Spokane, where she lived until moving to the SilverWood Good Samaritan Center in Silverton, 13 years ago.

She attended Sheridan Elementary and is the last surviving member of the school’s first graduating class. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church for 86 years.

She and Arthur G. Robar were married in 1923. He died in 1983.

Her son is Archie N. Hulsizer, Wallace. She has three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

When asked, she attributes her longevity to playing the piano and organ, church, friends and continual activity.
