Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: I place my mixing bowl in the kitchen sink when I whip cream with my portable mixer. It prevents splattering all over my countertops and canisters and cleans up easily as I wash the dishes. Polly Willardson, Ephraim, Utah

Dear Heloise: My children are in high school, yet they still look forward to Christmas. This year, as I began to think of Christmas decorations, I was unsure whether I should hang stockings. The children don’t eat a lot of candy and there really isn’t much that you can put in a stocking that is worthwhile. Then I got a great idea for stocking stuffers trial-size products. I bought a bunch of them and I know they will be appreciated. Jackie Treat, Montrose, Colo. xxxx
