Snowmobile Registration Stickers Now Available

Snowmobile registration stickers for 1998 are available.

All snowmobiles operating in Idaho are required to have the $16.50 sticker. They are sold by 200 vendors across the state, including snowmobile shops and many Idaho State Parks.

Most of the registration fee is returned to the county snowmobile programs. The vendor retains $1.50 and $2.25 goes to administration of the registration program and the printing of stickers.

The remaining $12.75 goes for plowing parking areas, cleaning restrooms and grooming 6,000 miles of snowmobile trails in Idaho. At the time of registration, snowmobilers are able to chose the county that receives their fees.
