Dillon Runs Over Oilers
Corey Dillon rushed for an NFL rookie record 246 yards and set a club record with four touchdowns Thursday as the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Tennessee Oilers 41-14 Thursday night.
Cincinnati (5-9) also rode Boomer Esiason, who completed 20 of 28 passes for 253 yards and a touchdown.
In the fourth quarter Dillon, the former University of Washington star, broke Jim Brown’s 1957 rookie record of 237 yards.
The Oilers fell to 7-7.
