Ripley Switches Sides In ‘Alien Resurrection’

Alien slayer Ellen Ripley is back in full effect in “Alien Resurrection.” The film covers familiar territory (aliens escape on ship, kill everyone) but the twist is this: now Ripley is a part of the alien species she fought to destroy. She reluctantly teams with Winona Ryder and her space pirate roughnecks for some surprisingly fun, messy, out-of this-world action. Dazzling special effects, beautiful cinematography and stylish pacing elevate this installment far beyond the normal sci-fi thriller.
