Season Ticket Good For 1-To-1 Rose Bowl Deal

Washington State University Athletic Director Rick Dickson announced Saturday that anyone holding a season ticket for Cougar football can buy one Rose Bowl ticket.

The new one-for-one system came about because of an apocalyptic response from hacked-off fans and students alike, all wanting passes to Pasadena. By Dickson’s guess, he had 350,000 fans and 35,000 tickets.

“When the plan was initially determined, I had hoped we could make this adjustment,” Dickson said. “Those who qualified (for tickets) have been great about only requesting what they need. Therefore there are tickets available and we are able to make this change.”

Those affected will be notified of the change starting this evening, Dickson said, adding a plea for season ticket holders not to call the university in the meantime.

Cougar family plan tickets are excluded from the adjustment. , DataTimes
