Power Hand Reign Fifth Straight Defeat

Natalie Williams scored 24 points to lead the Portland Power to a 65-56 win over the Seattle Reign on Saturday night in Portland.

Lisa Harrison added 10 points and Katy Steding contributed eight as the Power handed the Reign their fifth straight defeat.

Shalonda Enis led Seattle with 18 points in the debut of head coach Tammy Holder.

Portland held Seattle to .351 (20 of 57) shooting from the field.

Seattle’s Val Whiting, who had been scoring 15.1 points per game, was held to four points.

Carolyn Jones made 10 of 15 shots and scored a game-high 24 points to lead New England over Philadelphia.

Kara Wolters and Dale Hodges each had 14 points and 10 rebounds for New England.

Taj McWilliams had 16 points and 10 rebounds for Philadelphia.
