Kris Weems scored 18 points, in cluding a pair of free throws in the late going, and No. 9 Stanford held off Pacific 67-61 Friday night for its 15th straight win at home.
Michael Olowokandi had a career-high 26 points for Pacific and outdueled his 7-foot counterpart Tim Young, who finished with 12 points.
Olowokandi also had 11 rebounds in registering his sixth double-double of the season.
Arthur Lee added 11 points for the Cardinal (7-0), which beat the Tigers (8-4) for a 14th straight time.

Mitch Henderson scored on a backdoor cut with 32 seconds left - No. 19 Princeton’s only field goal over the final 4 minutes - and the Tigers (8-1) were able to hold off the No. 23 Demon Deacons (6-3) in the Jimmy V Classic in New York.
The Demon Deacons (6-3), who trailed by as many as 12 points in the second half of their third straight loss, had closed within 63-61 on a 3-pointer by Loren Woods with 49 seconds left.

At Tempe, Ariz., Jeremy Veal broke a tie with a 12-foot baseline jumper with 7 seconds remaining to give the Sun Devils (7-3) a comeback win over the Aggies (5-3).
Arizona State, which saw the Aggies’ Steve Houston miss a 25-footer at the buzzer, trailed by as many as 17 points in the first half.
Veal had 10 of his 14 points in the second half to send the Aggies to their second straight loss.

At Jonesboro, Ark., Antonio Harvey scored 34 points and was one of five Indians in double figures as Arkansas State (6-3) beat Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (5-5).
Harvey was 8 of 14 from 3-point range and, as a team, the Indians were 19 of 35 from beyond the arc.
