The marriage of Merri Lou Richards to Joe Franzella was solemnized in a Sept. 20 ceremony at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Spokane.

Bob and Marilyn Richards, Spokane, are parents of the bride. Franzella is the son of Phil and Julie Franzella, Burlingame, Calif.

A reception followed at the Spokane Country Club. The couple are living in San Mateo after a honeymoon along the Oregon Coast.
