Suspect In Shooting Death Turns Himself In
Police have arrested a suspect after a 26-year-old Bremerton man was shot and killed at an apartment.
The shooting occurred shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday in east Aberdeen, police said.
The suspect later called 911 and turned himself in, police Capt. John Delia said.
The names of the victim and suspect were not immediately available, and a motive for the shooting was not disclosed.
Sgt. Tom Siress, the first officer on the scene, said he found a young man bleeding from the chest, apparently wounded by bullets from a small-caliber handgun.
The victim later was pronounced dead at Grays Harbor Community Hospital, Delia said.
Grays Harbor County Coroner John Bebich said the man had been struck by at least three bullets, and an autopsy is scheduled for today.
A woman at the scene also was shot at but was not hit, Delia said.
