CV Splendid Against Press

Prep basketball

Future scouting reports may suggest not pressing Central Valley.

Kamiakin (4-1) attempted the strategy early in Tuesday’s non-league boys game, and the host Bears (3-1) broke the press for easy baskets on the way to a 75-52 win.

The Bears shot 53 percent from the field, the Braves 31 percent.

CV’s Tom Perkes and Bryan Depew combined for 16 rebounds, and Nate McFarlane added five assists and four steals.
