Talbott Will Be Sworn In Monday

Spokane Mayor-elect John Talbott will join newly elected City Council members Cherie Rodgers and Rob Higgins for a swearing-in ceremony Monday.

Former Mayor Neal Fosseen will give a brief speech at the 5:30 p.m. ceremony in the council chambers.

Councilwoman Phyllis Holmes, re-elected last fall, will be out of town Monday, so she will be sworn in Tuesday.

The public is invited to attend the ceremony. A reception will follow in the council lobby of City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.
