Christmas Trees May Trigger Allergy Symptoms

Philadelphia Inquirer

Allergic to Christmas?:

Oh, Christmas tree - it may trigger your allergies.

Doesn’t matter if it’s live or artificial - it’s often the mold or dust on either kind that causes sneezing and wheezing, says Bill Geils, executive vice president of Dust-Seal indoor allergy control products.

“Most attics or basements are damp and dusty, contributing to the mold spores and dust that form on the branches of an artificial tree,” he says.
