Lion Districts Closing

Additional mountain lion hunting districts will be closing one-half hour after sunset today, wildlife officials said.

Closures announced late Wednesday by the Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks include: Districts 323, 324, 325 and 327 in southwestern Montana, and District 110 in northwestern Montana.

In all instances, officials said the harvest quotas have been met. The districts opened to lion hunting Dec. 1.
