Laura Alice Kirkman exchanged wedding vows with John McCall Evans in an Aug. 8 ceremony at the Bozarth Retreat Center.

The bride is the daughter of David and Jan Kirkman, Spokane. The bridegroom is the son of Robert and Helen Evans, New York City.

A reception followed at the wedding site. The couple are living in the Bronx, N.Y., after a honeymoon in Sandpoint.
