Looking for something to do on New Year’s Eve? Of course you are; isn’t everyone?
Check out the New Year’s Eve ‘97 Party at Riverfront Park. Spend five hours skating at the Ice Palace, checking out the latest film at IMAX, testing your limit on the SR2-Simulator, riding bumper cars and playing around Bumpers Fun Center. The fun starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 12:15 a.m. Cost is $7.95 for all events or each attraction at its regular price individually.
Before heading back to school, enjoy some home-grown music by local high-school bands at the Libby Teen Center on Saturday. Featured bands will be New Vision from Shadle Park High, The 4th Kind from West Valley and University high schools and a special third band to be announced. Doors open at 8 p.m. Cost is $3. The Teen Center is located at 2900 E. First Ave. in Spokane.
