Gonzaga Prep Beats Ferris Behind Williams, Palmer

Jennifer Williams and Theresa Palmer scored 16 points apiece for Gonzaga Prep as the visiting Bullpups defeated Ferris in Greater Spokane League play Friday night.

Prep (10-4, 7-3) jumped out to a 20-8 first-quarter lead, despite the absence of starting point guard Danielle Thorn who dislocated a finger last Friday against Mead.

Janelle Morrisette scored 12 points for Ferris (8-6, 6-5).
