Wvcc Dumps Cold-Shooting Sasquatch

Justin Brager scored 13 points and pulled down five rebounds, and teammates Adam Kerns and Luke Primm each added 11 points Saturday night to lead visiting Wenatchee Valley Community College to a 61-45 men’s basketball win over cold-shooting Community Colleges of Spokane.

CCS (0-8, 6-16) got 12 points from Kasey Aherns and 10 from Mike Mostek, but could never overcome its 31-21 halftime deficit and 28 percent (15 of 54) shooting from the field.

Cedrick Day pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds for the Sasquatch, who were also hindered by poor ballhandling that resulted in 27 turnovers.
