Chamique Holdsclaw scored 23 points, including the basket that broke the game’s final tie, and No. 9 Tennessee rallied to beat No. 23 Wisconsin 78-74 Tuesday night.

The Vols (17-7) erased a 15-point deficit over the final 14 minutes to overtake the Badgers (14-6).

Holdsclaw broke a 74-74 tie with a driving basket with 1:50 to play.

Moments later, teammate Abby Conklin intercepted a cross-court pass and scored to make it 78-74.

Wisconsin then missed its final four shots, failing to capitalize when Tennessee came up empty on four consecutive 1-and-1 opportunities in the final minute.
