David Decker Spokane
Memorial service for David L. Decker, 59, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lauer Funeral Home in Deer Park.
Mr. Decker, who died Jan. 25, was born in Potlatch, Idaho, and raised in Spokane.
He graduated from Lewis and Clark High School and worked in his father’s drug store, Decker Pharmacy, while growing up.
He served his first stint in the Navy from 1957 until 1961.
He received a bachelor’s degree in science and environmental health from Washington State University. He worked for the Las Vegas Health Department for a short time before he enrolled in Officer Candidate School and re-enlisted in the Navy.
He later received a master’s degree in environmental health.
In the Navy, he served in Virginia and at Camp Pendleton Marine Base in California. He retired in 1985 and moved to Spokane.
Mr. Decker was a member of the Hudson, Studebaker and Kaiser-Frazier car clubs and was a car collector. He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the National Rifle Association and the Wildlife Association.
Survivors include a son, Steve Decker of Spokane; a stepson, Dwayne Labertew of Spokane; two stepdaughters, Terri Goltiani and Lorie Alstrom, both of Spokane; and six grandchildren.

Laura Hagy Spokane
Memorial service for Laura Marie Hagy, 27, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Coeur d’Alene Park gazebo in Spokane’s Browne’s Addition.
Miss Hagy died Jan. 23 from cancer.
She was a lifetime Spokane resident and attended the R.E.A.L. School and Spokane Falls Community College.
She had worked in business management.
Miss Hagy is survived by her father, Charles Hagy of Spokane; her mother, Kathy Hagy of Spokane; a brother, William Hagy of Montana; her grandfather, George Swanson; and her grandmother, Mary Hagy.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Spokane Humane Society.
Robert Woolery Spokane
No service will be held for Robert A. Woolery at his request. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Woolery, 47, died Friday.
He was born in Spokane and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School and Eastern Washington University with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree.
Mr. Woolery was a writer of short stories and theses.
He served in the Army for three years and was a disabled veteran.
Mr. Woolery is survived by a son, Jason Woepple of Spokane; and his mother, Erna Woolery and a brother, Arthur Woolery, both of Spokane.
Judy Carrier Spokane
Service for Judy D. Carrier, 45, is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Fourth Memorial Church. Burial service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Rockford. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-North is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Carrier, who died Sunday, was born in Spokane and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School.
She had worked for Pacific Fruit and Produce Co. in the 1970s and then married Bill Carrier.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years; two sons, Rick and Gary Carrier, both at home; her parents, Ernie and Lois Claassen of Spokane; and two sisters, Linda Anderson and Darlene Claassen, both of Spokane.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fourth Memorial Church Building Fund.
L.E. ‘Rusty’ Heathcock Medical Lake
Memorial service for L.E. “Rusty” Heathcock, 76, is planned for 3 p.m. Friday at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-Medical Lake.
Born in Haileyville, Okla., Mr. Heathcock died Sunday.
He was a civil engineer and had worked with the civil service at Fairchild Air Force Base for 10 years, retiring in 1990 as a professional engineer.
He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 6, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Medical Lake American Legion Post, the Society of Professional Engineers, the Medical Lake Senior Citizens and the Espanola Grange.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marge Heathcock; three daughters, Sherry Wilken of Anchorage, Alaska, Suzanne Egolf of El Paso, Texas, and Judi Heathcock of Wasilla, Alaska; a son, Larry Heathcock of Medical Lake; two sisters, Millie Montgomery of Montgomery, Texas, and Nita Keenan of Redding, Calif.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Thomas Mahoney Everett
Memorial service for Thomas Anthony Mahoney, 69, will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Evergreen Funeral Home in Everett.
Mr. Mahoney, a former Spokane and Coeur d’Alene resident, died Sunday.
He was born in Veteran, Wyo., and attended Gonzaga Preparatory School.
He worked in the automotive industry for more than 40 years, most of that as a dealer for Ford Motor Co. in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area. He became a partner in Majer Ford Center in downtown Spokane in 1968 and later purchased the same dealership with two others in 1970 and renamed it Center Ford.
He and his wife, Phyllis, moved to Everett 13 years ago, and he was an independent car dealer.
He was a member of the Shrine and the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Phyllis; a son, Ron Mahoney of Boise; a daughter, Carolyn Anderson of Redmond, Wash.; three sisters Loretta Conrad of Davenport, Wash., and Pat Stevenson and Colleen Birchill, both of Spokane; two brothers, Dan and Jim Mahoney, both of Spokane; and two grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or the University of Washington Medical Center for the research of emphysema.
Roy Tibbett Spokane
Visitation for Roy Tibbett, 79, is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. No service will be held at his request. Private burial will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Mr. Tibbett, who died Sunday, was born in Spokane.
He served in the Army during World War II and worked as a self-employed machinist.
Survivors include a brother, George Tibbett, and a sister, Betty Parks, both of Spokane.
Pauline Klevjord Spokane
Visitation for Pauline R. Klevjord, 80, is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-North. Service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
Mrs. Klevjord, who died Sunday, was born in Wilton, N.D., and came to Spokane from Seattle 47 years ago. She was a homemaker.
Her husband, Gotfred Klevjord, died in 1987.
Mrs. Klevjord is survived by a son, John Jones of Spokane; three daughters, Beverly Vega and Chris Klevjord, both of Spokane, and Betty Robinson of Galina, Kan.; a sister, Olga Englehardt of Lodi, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Frank Weller Spokane
Funeral Mass for Frank Joseph Weller, 87, will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Charles Catholic Church. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. HennesseyValley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Spokane, Mr. Weller died Monday.
He attended Gonzaga Preparatory School and North Central High School.
He worked for Weller Bros. Construction and owned Weller Ornamental Iron Works. He later worked for Boeing in Seattle and Haskins Steel in Spokane.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Weller is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rosalie Weller; a son, Terry Weller of Buffalo, N.Y.; three daughters, Gail Bellinger and Mary Agee, both of Spokane, and Sallie Newlun of Waverly; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Margaret Black Spokane
No service will be held for Margaret M. Black. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Black, who was born in Hamilton, Mont., died Saturday.
She graduated from nursing school and went to work in the Pasadena/ Glendale, Calif., area as a special-duty nurse.
In 1934 she married Walter Black in Mission San Gabriel, Calif. The couple settled in Spokane.
Her husband died in 1956.
Mrs. Black was a member of The Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes, the Jesuit Auxiliary and the Spokane Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Donohue; and three grandchildren.

Larry Schoenberger Sr. Spokane
Memorial service for Larry A. Schoenberger Sr., 59, is planned for 10 a.m. Friday at Gretna Green Chapel. The Cremation Society of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Schoenberger, a lifetime Spokane resident, died Monday.
He was a Lewis and Clark High School graduate.
He was employed in the tire industry and was also a rancher until he became disabled a few years ago.
Mr. Schoenberger served in the Air Force Reserve and was a member of the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by two sons, Rick Townsend of Omak, Wash., and Larry Schoenberger Jr. of Spokane; three daughters, Shelli Schoenberger of Morton, Wash., Tracy Kitterman of Benton City, Wash., and Wendy Boren of Spokane; three brothers, James Schoenberger of Grand Coulee, and Richard and Ronald Schoenberger, both of Spokane; two sisters, Nancy Ferguson and Marilyn Materne, both of Spokane; and 12 grandchildren.
Marjie Farrish Deer Park
Memorial service for Marjie S. Farrish, 85, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South.
Mrs. Farrish, a former Spokane resident, died Monday She was born in Clarkston, Wash., graduated from normal school and taught in a one-room school in Arrow, Idaho.
She married Lester Farrish and they operated Lincoln Lumber Co. on the Columbia River near Creston, Wash.
Her husband died in 1948, and Mrs. Farrish moved to Spokane.
She studied art with Washington State University Extension and was an oil and watercolor painter.
Mrs. Farrish is survived by two daughters, Beverly Zappfe of Portland and Margo Morgan of Anchorage, Alaska; two brothers, Gerald and Morse Garlinghouse, both of Spokane; four grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.

Daniel Vickrey Nine Mile Falls
Graveside service for Daniel L. “Dan” Vickrey, 36, will be at 2 p.m. today at Spokane Memorial Gardens. Hennessey Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Vickrey died Monday as a result of injuries suffered in a Jan. 30 automobile accident.
He was born in Glendale, Calif., and moved to Cheney in 1968. He graduated from Central Valley High School.
He set several state records for high hurdles in track. He attended Washington State University on a full athletic scholarship.
Mr. Vickrey worked in construction.
Survivors include his wife, Shannon and a daughter, Jordan Vickrey, both at home; his parents, John and Darlene Vickrey of Spokane; a brother, John Vickrey of Selah, Wash.; two sisters, Sandra Ann Rankin of Liberty Lake and Susan Morrow of Spokane; and his grandfather, Lloyd Vickrey of Hemet, Calif.
Ermine Wolf Deer Park
Rosary for Ermine Rosemarie Wolf, 96, will be at 7 p.m. today at St. Mary’s Presentation Catholic Church in Deer Park. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. There will be private burial at Fairmount Memorial Park in Spokane. Lauer Funeral Home in Deer Park is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wolf, who was born in Belgium, died Sunday.
She married Charles Brown after World War I and came to the United States and settled in Kansas City, Mo.
Her husband died after 37 years of marriage.
Mrs. Wolf then married Harvey Wolf and they moved to Spokane in the late 1950s.
Harvey Wolf died in 1971.
She moved to Deer Park 13 years ago to be near her daughter.
Survivors include a daughter, Elinor Weightman of Deer Park; two sons, Albert Brown of Freeman, Mo., and Charles Brown of Deer Lodge, Mont.; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Clora Mathers Spokane

Born in Missouri, Mrs. Mathers died Tuesday.
She graduated from Lewis and Clark High School and worked as a meat cutter and packer for Armour Meats for 24 years.
Her husband, Archie Mathers, died in 1993.
Survivors include a son, James Eckley of Orovada, Nev.; a stepson, Gary Mathers of El Toro, Calif.; two daughters, Joyce Erhardt of Otis Orchards and Janice Beaudette of Bothell, Wash.; two sisters, Bert Thomas and Ollie Sundberg, both of Spokane; a brother, Thomas Gates of Auburn, Wash.; 27 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and six greatgreat-grandchildren.
Russell Beddow Spokane
Funeral Mass for Russell Beddow, 84, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church. There will be private inurnment. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Clarence, Mo., Mr. Beddow died Sunday.
He served in the Air Force during World War II and the Korean War. He was an air traffic controller.
He was a member of the Non-commissioned Officers Club at Fairchild Air Force Base.
Mr. Beddow had lived in Spokane for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Esther Beddow of Spokane; four daughters, Pamela Nilges of Coeur d’Alene, Cathy Smith of Mesa, Ariz., and Rita Pishko and Sandy Ludiker, both of Spokane; two sisters, Ruby Culley of Griggsville, Ill., and Dorothy Lampher of Clarence, Mo.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
