The Slice An Odd Old Wives’ Tale Faces Scientific Scrutiny

Ever heard about mixing a pregnant woman’s urine with Drano to reveal the gender of the baby?

(You’re supposed to be able to tell from the color changes.)

Video mix-up: When Randee Kistle’s family lived in Colombia a few years ago, they belonged to a video club, through which they purchased a two-tape copy of “Schindler’s List.”

Kistle’s daughter once took the tapes to a Colombian classmate’s house to watch the powerful movie. But apparently something got switched when she brought the videos home. Debra Wilde is no cream puff - she’s a tough cookie.”

He’s 69 and lives in Utah: We talked with Dave Page, star of “The Captain Cy Show” back in the ‘60s. Asked for a favorite recollection, he recalled asking a 5-year-old boy where he got his red hair. “It came with the head,” the kid answered.
