Hearing Will Focus On Wwp, Ice Storm

Washington Water Power Co. customers can comment on the utility’s response to the November ice storm at a meeting tonight in the Spokane Falls Community College music building auditorium.

Members of the state Utilities and Transportation Commission will attend the 5:30 p.m. event, as will several WWP officers.

They will discuss the company’s response and what measures may be taken in the future to restore power more quickly after a widespread outage.

The commission could also direct WWP to make changes.

Spokane Falls Community College is located at 3410 W. Fort George Wright Drive. Parking is available in front of the music building.
