Cameraman Says Simpson Attacked Him

Associated Press

A TV cameraman says O.J. Simpson shoved him, kicked him, threatened him with golf clubs and tried to wrestle away his camera when he refused to stop videotaping Simpson playing golf.

The free-lancer, identified as Dan Hardy, was on assignment at the Sepulveda Golf Complex on Wednesday for “Inside Edition.”

No police report was immediately filed, Officer Mike Partain said. Lawyer Jim Blancarte said Hardy planned to file a report. Simpson lawyer Phillip Baker declined to comment.

According to Blancarte, Hardy says he was videotaping from about 100 feet away when one of Simpson’s golf partners ordered him to leave. Hardy refused.

Hardy says Simpson came over shouting and attacked him, raising two golf clubs above his head.
